Becca Kawaoka, Head Coach

Coach Becca is a professional triathlete with certifications in triathlon coaching, swimming, nutrition, and strength & conditioning. She earned her degree in kinesiology and specializes in injury prevention, long-term athlete development, and sustainable performance. Drawing from years of competing at the highest level of the sport, Becca brings both lived experience and evidence-based practice to her coaching.

As a devoted coach and clear communicator, Becca makes training intentions easy to understand while providing consistent, thoughtful feedback that helps athletes build confidence and autonomy. She excels at meeting athletes where they are—whether they’re chasing podium finishes, returning from injury, or balancing performance goals with demanding careers and families.

Becca’s coaching philosophy centers on holistic health, recognizing that peak performance is supported by more than just workouts. She emphasizes the balance of training stress, sleep, nutrition, relationships, and emotional well-being, helping athletes develop resilience both mentally and physically. This whole-person approach is reflected in her personal interests, including folk herbalism and organic gardening, which reinforce her belief in sustainable routines, patience, and long-term growth.

Through her coaching, Becca strives to empower athletes with knowledge, consistency, and trust in the process—guiding them not only toward stronger performances, but toward healthier, more fulfilling athletic lives.

As both an athlete and coach, Elliot thrives on the challenge and discipline that triathlon demands, and he brings that same level of intention and commitment to the athletes he works with.

Elliot is known for his analytical, process-driven coaching style, blending data-informed training with practical experience gained from years of racing across all triathlon distances. Whether refining race-day execution, building durability, or navigating long-term progression, Elliot emphasizes consistency and sustainable improvement.

As a coach, Elliot values clear communication, structure, and adaptability. He recognizes that every athlete’s life looks different, and he takes pride in designing training that aligns with individual goals, time constraints, and personal stressors. His athletes benefit from detailed feedback, strategic planning, and an environment that encourages accountability while still keeping training engaging and rewarding.

Above all, Elliot finds genuine fulfillment in sharing his passion for the sport and helping others pursue goals that once felt out of reach.
